It is a four-stringed instrument with a small banjo body but is played in standard GCEA ukulele tuning. With a cast aluminum tone ring, mahogany resonator with bound backplate, and 18-fret neck, the OUB1 provides a distinctly banjo sound what projects louder than traditional ukuleles.
